St. Croix scII vs. scIII

How much difference is there between the two? Is there a big difference in sensitivity and weight?

Lighter rod is going to be more sensitive.

If you go to the St Croix web site, the weights are listed for both blanks and finished rods. (SCII is the mojo and SCIII is the avid in finished rods) Makes comparing weights easy.

What are you using the rod for? Moving baits like cranks I would stick with the SCII but worms, jigs, etc. SCIII avid all the way. I own about 5 of each and have fished them a lot over the past couple of years.

Mostly worms and jigs. Looking at 6 1/2' to 7' MH action blanks. Thanks for the help guys.
