After alot of screwups, I think I've about got this figured out. Roundhead is 1/4 oz. Arkies are 1/8 oz. I used 7 strand wire on the Arky with the red hook

Re: jigheads with double wire weedguards (spinner man)

To make those the best way I have found is to:

    1. Bend about 2.5" piece of wire in half(about 95lb test).
    2. Slide bent wire around the front of hook.
    3. Slide skirt collar over bent wire.
    4. Place hook in weedless mold.
    5. Line up bottom of the collar where the base hole pin would meet the head.
    6. Close mold and pour.

The heat will not melt the skirt collar right away and a collar is good for a lot of pours just keep checking it.

Re: jigheads with double wire weedguards (Munkin)

If you are looking for the same wire that is used in the Stan Sloan jig heads I found a place that makes it to almost the exact specifications. If I'm not mistaken, the wire size is .023-.025". This is a three strand wire, stress relieved stainless steel. The company is called Jersey Strand and Cable. I don't have a link but if you google it you can find it. The only problem with the company is that they don't take credit cards and you have to pay for the wire before they send it out so you'll have to send them a check. I got a 1000' roll for about $85. That's more than enough wire to last me for a long time. If someone wants to try some I can send you a length of it to try before you buy.
