Something different I tried last year!

I made this shadow box for my father last year with a lure I painted for his birthday. I know he was just going to hang it on his wall and not use it so I figured I'd make him something he could hang! It was very easy to do and didn't cost much at all! I got a shadow box the right size from hobbylobby (used my 40%off coupon). Printed out a background to fit inside. Mounted the lure in with hot glue, the stem's of the lilly's were made with piece's of an old extension cord I cut and painted. I used superglue to hold the hook's in place, that's the only thing I shouldn't have done. lol. I also broke the glass trying to get it back in, (cheap glass) but didn't look bad without it.

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
