idea to mix E-tex 50/50 EVERY TIME!

I have been trying to get this right other than just guestimating so I had this idea.......

I took an empty 5 min. epoxy tube.......pulled out the twin plunger.........cleaned with laquer thinner.........poured the resin in one side, the hardener in the other........labeled the tubes and plunger so it doesn't get swapped.......put the cap back on (which will only go on one way).........turned it over and put the plunger in slightly.........turn it back over.........remove the cap and press the plunger in the remainder of the way until the air is gone.......put the cap back on.......no more guess work!!!.......50/50 mix every time!!!!!!

Re visiting old ideas are good... Those tubes are too small for me and have to reload too often... I use a 60 CC syringe per part. Just squeeze out the graduated amount and have less mess...

I looked for large dual syringes w/o much luck... I found some, but they use a gun to push out. More than I wanted to get into. I had a nurse buddy hook me up.

same here........looked for syringes too but no luck.......oh well

try a veterinary or vet supply place.Syringes for horses are rather large.
a set of metal measuring spoons work well also.

good idea............Lohn is supposed to be sending me some syringes, but if I know him, they will have Yamaha or a picture of a trial sized smallmouth he caught on them
