How many coats of DT2 do you guys apply to your crankbaits? I have been told by some 1 coat and some use 2 coats. I am worried about durability with just one coat.

My .02... most bass baits only require 1 coat of 2ton unless you frequent rock bluffs which probably wont matter anyway as I have yet to see a perfect topcoat eventually they will all develop some sort of hook rash and will chip with repeated abuse. The problem with 2ton is the extra weight you put on the bait with additional coats....
