How much to have jighead mold machined?

What is a rough estimate I could expect to have a jighead mold machined? I have an idea for a custom jighead and would like mold to have 6-8 chambers. Also is this something any CNC capable shop can handle and I need a god source for the flat stock to make the molds with. Thanks

Don't know about the machine/CAD cost but you can get molds blanks from Do-It.

Mark, I've had a few molds made & it'll run ya 100 to 150 clams to do it depending on how complicated the cavity is & whether it's multiples of the same head or several sizes of the head. I'd suggest you look at Hilt's "perfect replica" mold, for non-production work it'll save ya some $$, and if you're slightly handy at all, go to http://www.minaturemolds.com & look at their "quiksil rtv putty", I've used it to make prototype lead molds and had good results.

If you can come up with a design on CAD and send it to me with the mold, i might be able to have my school do it with our CNC machine.
