    lead pouring

    sometimes when i am pouring jigs there are pockets that the lead dont fill and sometimes a get little bures sticking from it.is there something i am doing wrong or is there a way to get a clean finished product?

    Are you using soft lead? Is your lead clean? How often do yopu skim the top of your lead? How new are your molds?
    I had a couple of molds I had to open up some at the top to let the air out, lead in better.
