    Shutting Down for Year

1999 200 Ficht Model E200FPLEEN Question-I know about changing gear lube, fogging engine, cleaning fuel separator, changing oil filter, indexing plugs, de-carbon in the spring, fuel stabilization, is there something I have missed for winter shut down and spring start-up?

pull prop to inspect and lube

grease fittings, put film of grease on steering ram and on trim rams

    store vertical if possible

A lot of good advice has been given... I would also add unplug/drain the water pressure gague so it wont freeze.

This may be overkill but I also run some marine antifreeze through the bilge pumps.

Re: Shutting Down for Year (1Stratos)

Thank you all for the advice, not shut down yet, have a couple more tournaments to do and then call it quits. This motor has done a great job for me. It is on a 21 ft TR21 Triton 1997, one of the first ones Earl built. Thanks again for the tips and I love this website
