My friend and i found a website where you can buy all the molds, injectors, and plastics... but how much is this going to set me back($$) and how easy is it to make your own stuff. Any answers would be nice... also any websites you guys use would be great.

you can do it cheaply or you can spend a mint. It all depends how deep you want to get into it. Feel free to ask any questions you have. Del-mart, lurecraft and the newcomer is bearsbaits. You can get all you need form these guys. Del has really good molds but horrible customer service. It could take you a couple of weeks to get your order. Lurecraft has good rtv molds and some aluminum and good colors and good cutomer service, but their colors pack pretty bad. Bears baits is new kid on the block. He does not have his molds online yet as he is building inentory. He does have colors, flake and plastic available and super customer service. MOst things ship out the next day. I have seen his molds and they are a going to be real easy and fast to pour. Bobstackleshack is another place, but he sells just molds. Let me know if you need anything else. Saint.
I get most of my stuff from lurecraft great service. Tackleunderground.com has a softplastic forum lots of good info there. i use a microwave and pyrex cup to do all my pouring. I have plaster molds of senko's, otters and wolly bugs and silcone molds ribbon tail worms in different lengths.
Its easy to pour just take your time and wear protective gear if you get molten plastic on the skin the skin will peel off with it.

Its not very hard to pour, and can be done relatively cheep. When I started I got a quart of plastic, 1oz of scent, two 1oz bottles of colors, some glitter, and a mold. I had a hot plate, so it probably set me back around 50$. A few months ago I started buying aluminum molds which can get pricey but are worth it imo, I also invested some money on a microwave. I estimate Ive spent about 300$ in a little over a year now, but I havent spent near as much on soft plastic baits as I would have.
