What do you guys think about this 3/4oz Spinnerbait with this wide gap hook. Just something different im trying.
I personally think a round bend hook gets the most hook ups. I hate those hooks. I tried them on jigs way back when they came out in 4/0-5/0 and still missed more fish than a smaller round bend. I like Owner hooks the best. 3/0-4/0 in my spinnerbaits.

Honestly, I think you'll get fewer hookups. I'll be interested to hear how it works for you though. As always I could be completely wrong.

I don't like the hook but who's the maker of the mold?
Do-it Mold. Im like yall i really do like the straight shank better in the spinnerbait but i have had several customers ask for it so i modified the mold so it would accept the hook.
I'll tell you what might be really cool on a spinnerbait...Try putting a double frog hook in a spinnerbait head..Then you can also have two trailer hooks...THAT'S 4 hooks total...OPEN WATER bait of coarse!
