American Tackle Matrix blank (frist time builder)

ok here the deal i ordered my frist 2 rods from hudhole
the Pink Mudhole rod for my wife and the St croix ST II or III i cant remember

but i have a buddy at work that would might like one built is the American Tackle Matrix blank worth try or is it like buying a rod off the shielf at walmart


and are the Mud hole rods simular (the extreen camo) which would be a good rod for this person
he looking at a 6'6" to 7'

I built a Matrix blank crankbait rod.........like it a lot.

build your buddy a St Croix II or III, depending on his $$$$. Both are excellent blanks.

If you orderd one of the kit rods, its an SCII.

The ATM Blank is a little on the heavy(weight) side for me. They are in the 33million Modulus range. Shop around some, you can find better blanks and better prices. Try acidrod.com, Jann's,
