Want to start making my own buzz and spinner baits

For a beginner starting to pour lead for buzz and spinners. Any recommendations on hot pots and how to get started? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Fred

The only thing I can tell you is to beware once you start you will never quit you will want to do more and more. I have the lee 10lb pot with handle and it works well, but if you plan on pouring spinnerbaits and buzzbaits a ladle may work better I have never used one, I know it is tough sometimes with the LEE pot but I make do.

I suggest that you may want to buy some components from Stamina that are poured and painted with good hooks already in them.... Then put the skirts, blades, swivels etc on.... It's alot more fun and much faster. Pouring and painting sucks.

    Look at these>>> http://www.staminainc.com/spinnerbait_heads.html

Have some fun... It's not much cheaper to pour and paint your own... Been there and done that!
