    help please

    hey guys im looking to get started in buliding my own rods for me and my club members what is the best way to get started like what blanks,guides, reel seats are good to use there is so much stuff out on the internet i dont know where to start. if any one can help it would be great

    I would contact Mud Hole and explain to them what ya want to do and maybe they can offer some suggestions on how to start or you can visit http://www.rodbuilding.org and maybe pick up some suggestions there. Good Luck.

    I second rodbuilding.org...they helped me out a lot...also buy a book...Tom Kirkman makes a great book and then get a DVD those items help out a lot. At first i would stick with a cheap blank because if you mess up, your only out a little, then move up the chain
