bend the wire out in from the position it comes out of the head imagine the wires form an "H" looking at the back bend the top left out and up bottom left out and down top right up and out bottom right out and down leave the center wire alone the wires should resemble an "X"looking from the back or front now you are ready to go donate it to the lake LOLOL
you can also bend the wires in other configs. seen some people putting all the wires on the same plane, kinda like a broom. this would be more effective pulling over the top of shallow grass. prob other ways to bend it but you have to start worrying about the lures tangling.
