Has anyone ever used the mepps minnows for bass fishing? Just read on a site about how good they are.

Thats all I used to throw when I first started fishing for bass back in the early 90's. Then I realized how easy they kept getting hung and how east the big bass used to shake me. They are the shizzy if you don't mind getting hung and big bass shaking you and line twist. They seem to work best in the spring when the bass are moving up shallow. May work in the good in fall too. I only throw the #3, #4, #5 with the white tail(bucktail) or the brown/black with white tip tail chrome blade...Good LUCK
