looking into fluoro for a ds setup. I know there are alot of new lines out there, can someone reccomend their favorite fluoro for drop shotting? On a side note... does anyone use copolymer for ds-ing?

I prefer Seaugar of all that I tried it seems to be the best. I would stay away from the Vicious Flour its cheaper but is real stiff and doesnt cast as well.

Stay away from Vicious original. It has horrible memory characteristics and doesn't like to stay on the spool creating birds nests. It seems after about 20 casts or so it will straighten out a little, but by then you will be very frustrated.

Sunline Sniper is the best i have used casting
Nitro z21
I use P-line floroclear for the main line (NO memory and strong line), and use invs-x fluorocarb for the swivel to drop weight. I've had terrible problems with fluorocarbon on spinning reels as a main line but do ok with baitcaster reels. I haven't tried Sunline yet for it's a little out of my price range.
I've tried most of them including bps, berklel 100%, p-line, etc, and so far Seaguar invsx is my favorite. Haven't tried the sunline yet but all the reviews I have seen have been very positive.

I have used them both and Have worked the best for me also.
softest would be gamma or invisx but you are giving up abrasion resistance and shock strength. best would be tatsu or shooter in my opinion. haven't fished any of the varivas or blackwater imports yet.
