I realized i have about 20+ bags of it but does anyone have success fishing them?
Or are they just a soft plastic of the past?
What time of the year does it work best, in what conditions and what colors, etc?

Do you have any of the slider head jigs? I'll take em
I really love that 4" slider worm , to me its the Original finesse worm, I just fish them texas rigged on an 1/8 oz. bullet tungsten weight, always produces fish.
I have fished these baits for 20 years. caught lg & sm bass, crappie, blue gill, walleye, no. pike and muskies on them. for smallies I fish a power plant lake with a lot of rip rap. I use a 1/8 oz. football head. for deeper water I'll use a heavier fb jig with a skirted craw. sliders are my go to bait when fishin is slow. I have used the fancy new finesse worms but imo they are no better than the slider worms.
It's kinda funny, a friend of mine from Arkansas showed me about fishing a, as we called it, a leadhead jig ,anywhere from a 1/8 ounce to 1/4 ounce with a 4" worm. This was back in the mid seventies. It was quite different from the texas rig that I was used to. I don't know, but this seemed to usually put fish on the table.Still does. Sorta like square billed crankbaits, lol.
Do you have any smoke w/red core in all the bags that you have?
If so would you be interested in selling them.![]()
