My main jig techniques are football and finesse.
For both of those I use Real Deal Custom Tackle jigs, made by BBC member Brad Deal.![]()

Oldham jigs are my favorite
Check out the double collar arkies at Cast Industries. I tie my own skirts and use their jigs.
I will second the Real Deal finesse jigs that Brad makes.Even though we give him crap on the Arkansas forum,he makes great quality jigs, and is great to deal with.(no pun intended)![]()

The one you have confidence in is the best, no matter who makes it.
I prefer Basscraft. But you expected that right!![]()
Have a very Merry Christmas!

Flatlands custom tackle makes the best jig hands down. Joey puts a lot of pride in his work. No deteriorating rubber bands holding the skirts. All wire tie.
Hey you guys from Arkansas......Have you guys used the bassX jigs??? I always pick some up when i visit my folks in Bella Vista......
In regards to football heads, A big question is what kind of hook do you like (or believe in). I have Jewel, Chompers, and Omega...3 different hooks, 3 very good football jig.
In regards to finesse, the head shap is a big variable (assuming you have a quality hook). The round-ball head Eakins jig from Jewel is one of the, if not the, original ball heads ang is a great jig--and one that MANY people have tried to copy. I have really grown to like the Omega (finesse) Jig. It's head is great for skipping.

Flatlands gets my vote as well. A BBC Sponsor, quality jigs, and Joey's a great guy to deal with![]()
