New Source For Fishing Information

Check out the new website http://www.advancedangler.com/index.asp
for the most current, leading edge fishing information on the net. With a heavy emphasis on "how-to" you'll find everything from how Tommy Biffle outfits his boat for competition (very interesting if you ever thought you could really load a boat up!) to a great step-by-step on brass n' glass rigging to "Boom Boom's Corner" with Fred Roumbanis. Check it out!

Re: (moorecat)

Isn't this the "Fishing Tips and Techniques" section? AdvancedAngler.com is dedicated to improving angler success through information presented by industry leaders with a heavy emphasis on How-To. Just thought that someone visiting here to learn more about fishing would find the information there useful and perhaps use it to spark further discussion back here. Sharing information to help improve ourselves and others; isn't that why we're all here?

Yes it is the "Fishing Tips and Techniques" section.
Just because it doesn't "spark further discussion" doesn't mean nobody is reading or using it.
On a side note, the website link you posted isn't working. It'd be kind of hard to spark any discussion over that..

Sorry about the link. It worked when first posted.

Spinnerbait is one of my customs. Just trying to help here, not start a fight

I should clarify - I guess I don't understand why an informative website would be off-topic here.

His reply to your original post was off the topic. He was basically apologizing for responding off the topic. Then just asked a simple question, I too am curious to the color of the spinner in your avatar.

Good Golly, I thought he was telling me I was posting off topic here! I am so sorry I misunderstood. I hope you can please accept my apology. I guess I've earned the Moron Of The Week award, and I fully accept it!
The color is called Flaming PuPu, like the Flaming PuPu Platters from the Tiki restaraunts that were popular in the '70's. I made it for a man out in California who fishes the Delta. It had cool matching blades. I think I posted a photo of the whole thing in the Rods and Tackle Making section a while back.
Again, I apologize for the misunderstanding.
