Braid 6' flouro leader. use the neon yellow crappie braid you can see strikes better!

but with the braid and a floro leader wont the leader still get frayed and break off or even just snap off with a nice size fish???why not just use all floro??

No, not unless your knots are bad. I use braid and a fluro leader on all my shakeyhead and jig fishing when using spinning gear. I don't like to dropshot (see my post) but when I do it is only fluro but I will likely switch to braid......no stretch so better hookset.

I use 6 lb flouro for DS fishing. I spool the whole reel with it . Tight lines.

i like to use 8lb floro no braid. just 1 more knot to break. the floro is very sensitive . line twist is going to happen.

I use 10lb spider wire in the green. I was breaking the 10lb floro to much.

I use 20lb power pro with a 10lb berkley 100% flouro or Gama Edge leader for throwing tubes, and the same braid but downsize to 6 or 8 flouro for dropshotting. If your not using braid when dropshotting deep water or even fishing in the wind your missing bites.
