Small Cranks Upsize Front/Back

For fishing shallow cover, which hook is better to upsize, front or back? I'm fishing baits that are 2-2.25in. I know I used to upsize the back hook on the Mann's Baby -1 cuzz a bigger one on the front wrecked the action.

It never fails that that one bait I use that either doesn't ahve biggers hooks, or that I hadn't changed to good hooks, is the one that I lose fish on.

I upsize both hooks on just about every crankbait I throw. If you go to a short shank hook like the KVD's, one size up usually won't change much. Obviously, some crankbaits are more sensitive than others, and only trial and error will show you what a particular bait can handle.
