    by depth?
    by color?
    by size ?

    Re: CRANK BAIT ORGINZE (buckwheat30us)

Once a year, early spring... i get out all my cb boxes plus the extra 20 baits I've bought since Dec.--- open up all the boxes on the floor and start organizing your baits in your mind as you look at them....i put in a fishin'DVD, and then start working the newest baits into the logical boxes first... then i go get a beer and some snacks and watch some more of the DVD... then i check hooks on some baits and then and only then do i remind myself to get serious about this, just as soon as i get another beer and since the DVD is finished i catch the start of the Andy Griffith Show, take a nap, wake up and fix dinner, then i close up all my cb boxes and do it again the next spring--- works like a charm!!

I have a small box with the 5 that I use, and 2 large boxes with the rest.

I got 3 falcon crankbait boxes, one with rattlebaits, one with big deep divers and a med box with everything else. The med box has 6a's, 7a's and rc 1.5's mainly. The falcon boxes are pricey but really save on the room... these 3 boxes hold alot of baits in a little space.

All mine are stored in 3700 Plano's; organized by depth. I.E. shallow cranks 1-6', med. cranks 6-14', deep cranks 14+'.

This is how I organize mine and found that diving depth is more important than color.

I have a box for squarebills that includes RC series, Balsa type square bills,
another for lipless cranks, 2 or 3 for DD22/Fat Free shad/DT16 deep divers, 3 for wiggle warts, 1 FTO Falcon box for small Thin N/Bandit 100/Baby 1minus baits, 1 box for rapala shad raps, 3 more for whatever I can jam in there.
