getting some fluid leak out of the tilt trim unit between the valve body assembly and hydrulic pump,[not motor]part #6.and 0435343 on the evinrude parts fich,my question is are there a O ring ,gasket seal or what in between there?This is on a 01 225 ho and pretty sure they are all the same for several years.

Sounds like your valve body is cracked, the only seal is an o-ring between the motor and the valve body.
Have you hit anything with the gear case?
no don't remember hitting anything but when I first got the motor[a couple months ago] one of the three allen head bolts was loose and had to go threw the tilt trim release hole to tighten it up and probably got some water in the fluid when in the water when I noticed it but have since then run two or more quarts in and out of it to flush it out threw the fill cap hole,does it just mate metal to metal there ??it leaks right out of the seam where it bolts togetheron the boat side although not much but it does leak during operation.
