peg it or let it slide

Do most of you guys peg your worm weights or let them slide?
I peg my weight almost 100% of the time, when should I not peg the weight?
I use the florida style weights with the corkscrew pegging system alot but with the tungston weight I just use a toothpick.

    Have a great Holiday season,
    Dave

Here in Florida the only time I peg a weight is when I'm flipping mats or heavy grass.

I peg it when fishing tight cover, such as wood. I get hung up to easy when I let it slide when fishing wood.
