Don't have them down here. Only Walleye fishing I ever did was while living in Toledo, and fishing on Erie.
We always drifted with nightcrawlers on weighted spinners for them

Probally trolling in low light times or fishing under lights at night are the only 2 viable options for this time of year. Trolling is very hard to get right, so I would try to fish under the lights at night. Find a good point close to deep water. Put out your light (green fluro works best for me) and let the baitfish build up. Once they do tye on a treble hook just like you would a dropshot rig and snag the baitfish. You may have to try different depths. Once you get one drop your line down 4-6 ft. below the depth you found your bait (always keep a live one on). The eyes will be their may take a while but they will come to the baitfish.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
We need some more info on lake type and location. My A#1 walleye lure is a jerkbait. pointer or husky jerk. If you have never had a walleye come up 10ft and hammer a jerkbait... hang on... Also a long pause will really get them...
will not work in a deep great lake situation though...

I went under good conditions fished deep and shallow, nothing. Terrible day. I also like jerk baits, tried spinners/crawlers not a bite. Water is still pretty warm about 71.
the biggest walleye that I have ever caught was on a roadbed in 4 ft of water with a SS20026 inches... and it was out of season
