I've caught a few but not on the original chatterbait. There are some knockoffs that I think are better. I havn't caught anything yet on the originals.

As many people thatn are fishing them, the fish should be tired of getting pressured by them. with that being said... I just bought three yesterday

    Re: chatter bait (borderbasser)

I have been catching a bunch of good fish on a pumpkinseed chatterbait! Went this morning and caught 7 fish compared to the other 2 people in the boat. They got 2 a piece. In the past 2 week, I have landed a 7.2, 5.6, 4.6, 8.9, and a few other fish over 4 lbs. I have been reeling it steady fast, keeping it about 6" under the surface. It seems to be a great reaction bait, and cathes some bigger fish!

I had to try them because all the hype, so I bought a few and caught a couple just fishing it here and there. I finally decided to give it an honest try, and have done really good with it. Right now it is definately a confidence bait for me, and it has replaced flukes as my #1 bait.

BTW, I went back to DICK'S and bought some more and they were getting low, maybe only 20 left. Hopefully they get some more in soon...

    Re: chatter bait (craigaria)

They have been the hot bait down here on the Tennessee river chain. I have only caught very few myself but have talk to some buddy's that have been doing well. I beleive later in the year when the fish really go after the shad this bait is going to kill them. Here's a question?? Has anybody out there been fishing with them at night yet?

By the way just bought some of the Orignail baits (rad lures) at my local Wal-Mart. it want be long and everybody will have one.

    Re: chatter bait (FISH TICK)

I have an 8 years old son and we have been catching fish on them. The other day my son second cast he had a nice keeper fish, I have used it at night and It works like a big blade spinner bait. At night I slow the bait way down to a slow thumping of the blade.
    Good luck Fedxpress

    Re: chatter bait (FISH TICK)

I fished a black and blue Saturday night on KY lake. Caught 3 around 4 lbs each. Did better on a 7" powerworm, but did like fishing the chatterbait. The fish that hit it really did nail it.
