Does anyone use Senko's for wacky rigging. If so what size do you use. Thanks...Rich

Hey Rich, When I fish with Senkos they are either 5 or 6 inch and Wacky is the way I go 75% of the time. I use to use the rubber O ring but that got to be a pain and $$$. Now I use a 3ot hook and I just put it through the fattest part of the Senko. It still does the Wacky wiggle if you want to call it that.

I wacky rig a yum dinger all the time. I use the 5 inch version. I works really well for post spawn bass.....but really it works pretty well all the time!

Re: Senko's for wacky worms (codyf)

I saw a show with Mike Iaconelli useing the wacky rig. He used heat shrink that was similar in size with his 5" senko. He put the heat shrink on and used a lighter without getting his worm too hot and shrunk it around the worm. Then he slipped his hook into the heatshrink just like if you were using an O ring. He said his baits will last 5x longer this way. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to give it a shot.

Re: Senko's for wacky worms (Shobey)

I've had good luck with the Lake Fork Trophy Tackle Ring Fry and Ring Fry Jr in Watermelon/sparkle color. The Rings give it a look Bass aren't used to seeing, and it seems to quiver quite well as it sinks slowly. I've also heard it's deadly rigging a soft jerkbait wacky style.
