Lucky Craft - Wake Tail 85

Has anyone had any success with this lure? Is it easy to use? I have not had a chance to purchase a lucky craft lure yet.. Are they worth the money?

Re: Lucky Craft - Wake Tail 85 (bjcrawfo)

I've got a couple of them and they do work. I do kind of like the Lucky Craft splashtail a little better. The splashtail is alot like the devils horse, prop on both ends. I've caught more on it, but to be fair, I've thrown it a lot more. They have bearings on their props and they spin so easy the slightest movement will spin them. I think that gets a lot of strikes from fish that are not aggressive. That prop will turn with the slightes movement where as other prop baits can take a pretty good pull to get them to spin. I consider them worth the money.
