Our lakes are muddied up around her so you want a big noisey profile that you can slow role with a rattle. Depends on your water clarity and temp. Adjust accordingly...SMG.. Why would you be coming to the midwest to fish this time of year man your in bass heaven????
I would say yes... especially in white and you should get lots of bites... however, I don't think you will get the big bite with a 1/8 oz. spinnerbait. But, who knows?![]()
Got a friend that lives up there.
I like to use small 1/8 and 3/16 spinnerbaits, shortly after the bluegill and shad have spawned. With lots of small fry and juvenile bait fish it's a great time for the little baits.![]()
