I ran out of gas a few weeks ago and since then it has missed and ran rough. I thought it was the fuel filter and it was alright-it was more of a screen than a filter. Changed the plugs and even got rid of the the gas I was using and put Seafoam in the gas.
I put it in the water today and the same thing. It starts out rough then smooths out but without the same power. This motor ran great until it ran out of gas.
I checked the plugs and there was oil around the threads and a little out. Maybe the gas mix was to rich.
