    Father/Daughter day

    Wife and son are away on a church mission trip, so I decided it was time to take my daughter out for some fishing behind the house. She has never been an outdoors person (like my son and me). She caught a largemouth and a yellow perch today. Makes a dad proud

    Pretty lucky man I guess. Great wife, 2 great kids and a 27 acre lake behind the house. I may be broke (money wise), but if I can keep these things, I'll be fine.

    My daughter is not the outdoors type. The best part was having my wife tell me last night that my daughter can't stop talking about fishing and target shooting with Dad this weekend. It's easy to take that quality time for granted.i

    James, both my daugthers are parents themselves and though we don't have time to fish or hang out anymore I cherish the special times they look to me for advice or just want to talk So understand what you are saying
