Lake Anna October

Hi all...myself and a friend are considering renting a houseboat on the lake the 1st week of October..first has anyone done this there and secondly is the fishing any good that time of year?

IMO, the fishing on Anna is simply at it's best in the fall. Water temps are falling and the baitfish are schooling up. Fall early morning topwater on Anna can be a blast. The stripers should also be hitting really well by this point.

I would agree if you are going the fall is the best time. If you are staying a week you should get plenty fo quite time on the water on the week days.
