I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the way this tournament is run and managed. They send out mass texts to us anglers at every half hour to let us know what's been weighed in so far for the hourly weigh ins and plenty of help and direction at the weigh in to get people to the scales and gone again.
5.13 is leading right now and despite having a reported 300+ anglers, only 3 fish over 5 lbs were weighed in all day.

dang, if i had known they were going to send out texts, i would have fished. i couldnt see running in every hour or so to check what was winning, and i didnt know anyone to stand on the bank to call me.. THAT TEXTING IS SWEET.
maybe next year.
Yeah, it was interesting to say the least. 6.28 won the boat. The only fish over 6# caught all weekend. Looking back thru my texts, there was less than 10 5 pounders weighed in over both days. A 3 pounder was money.

The 6.28 actually got disqualified because he failed to successfully complete the polygraph. So the 5.54 ended up winning. I was expecting between 6-7 to win, but the fishing has been tough since the spawn.
I didnt hear about the 6.28 being DQ'd. Man, that had to suck.
