    What to do with motor?

Have a 2004 BRP evinrude ficht 225 HP. It has a pretty big hole in the block. The lower unit is almost new. beside the lower unit and cowlings, are the other parts worth much or is it possible to sell as is? what is my best option money wise to get rid of this motor?

Wow you went from a 60* motor to a 90* motor? Yep the parts will sell on the net. Trim will bring good $$, LU good$$. If you are willing to tear it down you can sell the bearings, pistons, connecting rods pumps all for some fair $$. Just figure $.35-.40 on the dollar.

i have a few different motors but yes, i have both a set of 60* and 90* motors. Do you think i could make at least $1000 parting this motor out?
