    New Rod/Reel for Son

Was at BPS in Richmond on Saturday after my son's soccer TX and got him a new rod/reel combo. He has been wanting one he can cast by himself since he says the spinning setup he has now is hard for him. With the help of an experinced and very kid friendly BPS fishing guy named Mike we decided on a Bill Dance spincast combo. After we got home from day 2 of soccer TX he spent the rest of the day in the backyard casting. He seemed to really like and enjoy the new rod/reel combo. Guess a trip to the water is due shortly to break it in the right way.

I agree Mike, plus when he does go out with me I will actually be able to fish He was out there so long yesterday I thought he would come back in holding his arm from it falling off.

Just wait till the spawn, one of those fruity females will probably bring that purple reel up to decorate her nest, then you can grab it.

I hope that one fish that lives in Anna was not attached to your rod/reel Greg.
