    On the Run Charging systems

Anyone local have a Trollbridge, Stealth 1 or Stay-n-charge system on their boat? Looking for imput to make up my mind on which direction I'm gonna go since my onboard charger isn't working correctly, I think.

I have the Stealth Pro Pak and its by far the best system Ive ever owned. Darris Allison liked it so much, he molded a special storage shelf into one of the lockers.

Check with "vafishing"....I know Jeff is running the system attached to the tow vehicle.

Re: On the Run Charging systems (Bank Trash)

I have the trollbridge on mine, but I don't have it wired up to charge from the tow vehicle, only charges from the alternator on the big motor

I am using the Dual pro II and ran another cable off the other charger from the Yamaha Motor. (one for the motor battery, second one for the Dual Pro which feeds the T/M batteries)...I am able to charge all four batteries on the run....

Mark, does trollbridge work as advertised? Would you get another one on your next boat?
Richard, you lost me. Are you saying that you aren't running one of the systems & still are able to charge on the run?

They renamed it but it dose the same thing. I use it for the three batteries for the T/M on one of the ckt off the motor and keep the other one for the cranking battery....

    Thanks for the explanation.
I want to buy a new charger & I feel like the 3 on boards(2 Guests & 1 Dual Pro) that I've had in the past have let me down. I'm leaning towards the Trollbridge right now but haven't made my mind up yet.

Re: On the Run Charging systems (currituckbasser)

I have the Stay N Charge with the charging set up to go off the main motor, and then also off of the truck alternator when towing. Abolutely love it, have had it in my boat for 4 years now with no problems. Actually just remembered how cool it is after towing back home from Gaston yesterday. Got home and plugged the boat in so the on board charger would get my trolling motor batteries charged after the long day fishing in the wind. Didn't even need to bother they were already charged up after the ride home.
