    Anglers Choice Marine

As some of you know I have been plagues by the Mercury coil syndrome. I have had 4 coils go south in the last 14 months with the most current last weekend. Just when I had the perfect opportunity to show that purple bullet what speed was all about. So I call Anglers and talk to Daniel and he tells me to bring it in today. So I load up the boat and head to Martinsville. When I arrive I am greeted by Daniel and he's like let me look and see how many I have if I have 6 I am going to call Mercury and get authorization for all six to be updated with the latest and greatest. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get six replaced at one time. Well I mean if I would have screamed and hollered and threw a fit probably. But to just walk in and have him go that extra mile without having to ask means a lot these days. Thank you Daniel and Randy.

Man, that's outstanding Sterling! After you telling me about your issues last year, then reading the other day that you lost another, I was just dumbfounded. Great to hear they took care of you today!

Sterling, Jeff Banco will tell you this actually happend to me a couple years ago! I had 3 Yamaha 225 HPDI's blow within 24 running hours. Skeeter regional rep Jack Solotanche actually came up and put the last powerhead on himself. Spent 2 hours in the boat with him on Friday morning to insure I was happy and on Saturday morning leaving the ramp by my house at less than 1200 rpm's it blew for the fourth time. Called rep at home and within 30 minutes he called back and told me to take the boat straight to Wooten's Marine and to be in Mr. Wooten's office with him at 11:00 AM. My cell phone rang at 11:00 and it was Jeff Stone of Skeeter Boats. Told me to pick out or order any boat I wanted and if it was an upgrade I would only pay Skeeter's cost differance. Upgraded from a 03 - ZX225 to a loaded 06 - 20-I Class for about 4 grand. They carried my boat to Atlanta and soon after that Yamaha recalled their HPDI's because of the oil pump problem and replaced the pumps. Now that's customer service, even sent me a couple of Skeeter's AllStar rods, a few shirts, couple hats and 2 life jackets. Just may have to buy me a new FX series this spring. Hard to change brands after that.......

I definitely can attest to that, makes Skeeter tops on my list for my next boat if Champion does not start building again.

Glad to hear they could get you taken care of so quickly Sterling. That's how we operate man, take care of the customer and get you on the water.

Daniel, David, and Randy make it their mission to keep everyone on the water, whatever it takes. Anytime we can do anything to help you out, just give the guys at the shop a holler, or me too if I can help you get your boat to the shop.

Anglers Cholce is now a drop off location for your reels. We have partnered together and they will be giving away certificates for free reel cleanings on their two tournament trails.
