Whos Planning on going to Bass Cat OI?

I know there was another post but ,just curious now that they have firmed up dates, who might want to convoy down there.

I'm still undecided about this year...

At a bad time for me Ed. One day i would like to see that many Cats all in one spot.

Wish I could go. But hate to drive that far pulling a boat . wish I had an plane to fly me and the boat in then pull up to the ramp like I drove from Va.
Some guys from NC go every year they said its like 16ish hours drive. IM SENT

I wish i could go I just got back from Central FL today and towing my cat 800 miles one way was not all that bad. we loged 2000 for the week

It Sucked the first 3 days and slowly got better through the week wednsday and thursday were the best days. We did catch some nice fish though out of the 6 o us that went we caught a 8 1/2lb a 7lb a lb 6 a couple 5lb and a 4lb. The last day we my buddie and me fished the kissimmee river and had out best day 27 fish with a solid 3 lb average I did catch a 3 foot gator on a buzz bait but he spit it when he got to the boat It was a fun trip. I will post some pics later today or tom.

I'll be going. Leaving out of VA Beach on either 5/6, or 5/7. Staying at Teal Point.

How fast do those places book for that weekend? Wondering how long I have to decide....

Teal Point is probably full, but there are others. Some of the resorts are pretty crappy with real tiny cabins. Check with Teal Point, but also go over to the BC site and ask around. I believe there is a list of places on there. If my partner backs out again this year, I'll have an open room, but I won't know until the last minute. I would make reservations as soon as you could.
