Finally!! A Bit of Good News in the Midst of all the bad!!

The propane guy is here hooking up my whole-house generator to the propane tank. He says it will be on line in an hour....

After all the bad news this month (Joyce's shoulder seemingly not healing right, my eye transplant situation, my lane problems, Elizabeth's ACL tear, now my septic tank overflowing!) this is a step in the right direction. Long road ahead, but at least we'll be warm if the power goes out!!! Got enough propane to last about a week or so.

Keep your fingers crossed. Hope I don't have to pee in the forest....

Nope, but grabbing a shower is tough unless it is a warm rain....

Durn generator just came on all by itself. Might be a test like they have told me they do, but they are going to check it out later tonight. Thank heaven for the wonderful folks involved in this project!!! Community Electric's Kenny Bunch and Southern States' Joe Griffin!!

It's all gonna work out just fine!! Elizabeth is gonna be spoiled even worse than she already is by the time she's all healed up with all the TLC she's getting ! She'll be ready for spring fishing in the Champ...

The lane is gonna settle in just fine like it always has...and between the lane and the generator install, you've met some awesome folks!!

Your eye thingy will work out and that will finally be over with...

And don't throw my shoulder in there, it's gonna be fine and plenty big enough for you to lean on!! You and Beeps can both come here to heal up!

As far as you being full of chit.....well, nothing we can do about that , it's too late!!!!

    So quit your worring woman!!!

I was just thinking the same thing, she can't be full of it anymore...seems the septic tank proves that.......

Yep, Kenny came in later last eve and we ran tests with full load, including heat strips, etc..it was just perfect. It is now set to automatically test itself every Sunday AM at 8:00. I think it runs from 7-10 mins. This type of test does not involve turning off power to house...it just makes sure the starting battery is charged and the propane is flowing properly.

I had to leave Elizabeth alone this AM. She is confined to kitchen where she cannot jump around and hurt her other leg..my biggest fear! She has a bunch of blankets and the pad from when she had her crate. I will only work in office 3 hrs, so I can get back to her ASAP....
