94 vidicator 200, Safe rpm?

what is the safe max rpm on this motor? Im prop shopping... and trying to find best set up for my rig. 94 stratos 201 pro XL 6 inch j/p I just dont want to over rev. Do you no if this motor has a rev limiter? Thanks guys

safe rpms are lower then 5800 rpms that is not an HO motor so the rpms are lower. the safe operating rpms is 45-5500 rpms your limiter may kick in at 61-6300 rpms but according to my Guru he said not to run it any length of time over 5800 rpms if I dont want it to go boom also make sure your # 2 jet and drain plug is changed there is numerous posts on it in the forums. depending on the boat a 24 raker, 25 gade or a 24/25 tempest would be best
