Had two new tires put on my trailer today....My spare tire has never been used (like new) but the original spare...Asked them to check the air pressure in my spare...When the mechanic went to unscrew the valve stem cap, the whole stem came completely off...It had dry rotted over time...With a new valve stem, my spare is ready to go...Just got me to thinking, we should all check our spare tire more often!!!
