i have a 1985 90 vro (pump has been removed)
on a 70's G-3 glasspar... i think.. the stern has been replaced and vin is lost
i'm going to have to register it as a home made boat to use it. i'm fairly sure it's a late model G-3

question #1
how do i determine what prop is best for me?

#2 i was told carbs from a larger v4 would give me more power
what one will work? will any v4 carbs bolt on or only certain years?

#3 is there if any performance modifications for these engines?

have in the past, shaved props with a sharp edge, and planed head's 30 thousands on other engines but not one of these.

any one taken any off the heads on these?

i know the obvious answer buy a larger engine..
witch i do have a 200hp vro. but i think it's best to leave the 90 on the boat. ;)

cuz i really have no idea where i should be as far as a boat owner
i checked in to iboats but things seemed a bit strict there. also i didn't see a for sale section and i'm always looking for used parts.

any other site you guys wanna suggest i'm open to options also.

some one converted my boat to a mini bas boat recessed a section in the bow and stuck a seat up there. it's original design is a speed boat so i'm swapping it back where i want it. besides i can't catch fish with out a net being hauled behind me.
