put in at poyners road (NC wildlife ramp) today fished from 9 til noon, no takers on crankbaits, plastics and spinnerbaits. I am going to have to learn how to fish somewhere other than the bank....one positive though had the little lady using a baitcaster for the first time, Kelly did pretty good. Now if I can just teach her how to set the hook on a fish because she did have one take off with her wacky rigged senko but instead of setting the hook she just reels and tugs a little. I tell her, she needs to set the hook and I get the response "well I dont want to hurt him"
