    The James

I have a hunting club meeting tomorrow evening in Chester and thought about taking my boat out tomorrow afternoon. I have never fished the James anything I need to be concerned about? I thought I would put in at Osbourne Landing. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Talk with SETDHK and/or vafishing, they both are not to far from there and may be able to help you out.

Pretty safe running around there, water in the barge pits will be the warmest you will find, but you may not to run in ther on your own, see if you can find someone to follow. Meades pit can be good this time of year too. Shirley pit can be good this time of year too. If you run up from Osbourne, stay toward the middle, there are several rock jetties on both sides that you may not be able to see depending on the tide. BassinVA is another good person to contact.

Go to fishingva.com for an update on the river. Jeff, fished there over the weekend.
