Are you talking about a tx partner, or just someone to fish with all the time?
just want someone to fish with on a regular and mabey the ocassional tx. all my " buddies " are too unreliable say they will show then get a call at 11:00 sorry i didn't make it got too drunk lastnight but i swear i'll be there next time.

Hey Dave, short of the best solution of "take a kid fishing" I would look for a club in your area, spend some time and visit each club's meeting, not all are created equal. once you find a good one, fishing partners are never far away. our little club has about 19 members and I know I could find a fishing partner with just a couple of calls.

i have two children and neither one of them want anything to do with fishingplus living in an island town all of my friends children have their own boats. i think i will look at local clubs for next year.

Yep, join a club. You can generally find people who want to pre-fish and stuff of that nature. But I do know what you are talking about. I don't even attempt to find anybody to fish with on a regular basis anymore.
