Can anyone give me some idea of the fuel efficiency of this motor? I'm looking at a Triton SF21 that has this motor on it and I don't have any experience with a motor larger than 75 horsepower.

IT SUCKS.
1.5 gallons per hour???????????? NO WAY. I wil tell ya this.... My boat holds 46 gallons. IF you keep it over 5500 for anytime at all, you can watch the hand move FAST.....
I had a 96 Vindicator which is the same as the Venom . I got about 2.5 to 3 mpg at wot.
They're just like any other motor....keep your foot out of it,and it'll treat you right....push it to it's limits,and it'll drink both gas and money mighty quickly
standard rule is it will burn 10 percent of it's rated horsepower per hour
200 hp = 20 gallons per hour @ WOT. I have tested it and it is on the money.
