    Rusty - Help Please!

I was running my E-Tec 200 today and had a warning sound accompanied with low oil light. I shut it down immediately and checked the oil reservoir - approx. level was 2". Bulb was hard. I started it again - no horn just the light. Took the boat to the house.

Seconds before this occurred, I experienced severe chine walk.

    My questions are:

Could the chine walk slosh the oil causing air to be drawn into the oil line?

Do I need to bleed the oil lines?

    Have I damaged my engine?

Big, chances are that you have not damaged your motor, the low oil light staying on with no horn after you checked the oil tank...And restarted the motor.... leads me to believe you have a bad System check guage or a wiring problem.

Besides, Its an E-Tec, it can run for hours with no oil.
