    0mc lower units

About to replace the lower unit in a 225 ho[01],it had a L1 on it but what would be wrong with putting a regular V6 lower unit from say a 96 or 98 150 or 200 on it would this pose a problem or disadvantage

Re: 0mc lower units (rude power)

No problem at all. The only issue to be aware of, is the length of the driveshaft and the shift rod design. When using cases from different style powerheads, you sometimes run into this situation. Just be sure to use your existing upper shaft and S.R. if the replacement case is of a different length and design.
