    Slowly chopping away at it......

Met some more of you guys today....and Thanks Brad for letting me follow ya down...Now I know where Tunis is.

And we know to take a detour for parades....LOL.

We forgot to have you show me how to drive thru the chinewalk tho......the boat is faster than I am willing to drive it right now, Moving the weight around helped, but now the chinewalk comes in @ 60 with just me in the boat.

Clocked gps today of 61.4, and I still had engine left, but the ride was getting wierd quick.

Mark, it was nice meeting you....and who've thunk that they would shut down 13 for a parade in Whaleyville on a Sat morning...

I was hoping that after the ride we took and your boat didn't walk at all that the weight distribution change you made cured it......apparently it was my large keister that knocked it out.... we'll get back out there soon and get you set straight.....

I'm not saying you got a large kiester, but with just me in it, it does ride a lot more level now.

    Dude....exactly.

Drive thru means to me, and everyone else I talked to, that you continue to drive while controlling the problem (chine walk, tire shake, icy road, etc), as opposed to stop driving

Don't be offended, Mark. We have way too many members who think they can simply "drive thru it", meaning they think that, if they keep on going, it will stop.....They do not realize that they must learn to control it.

If you're referring to me, i can assure you that I know better, my use of terminology may be different than some since i'm not from around here....

We (Allison owners) also call it "washing the decals"...

With time, you can prevent it before it starts. Just take it slow.

Never heard you use the term. I was not referring to anyone here in the VA/NC board....Was referring to new members (many in General and Lounge forums) learning to drive and thinking they can just keep going and the chine will disappear.

Mine starts about 68 mph. I haven't mastered it yet....But I also have managed to lose the sweet spot Robbie Patterson found when he got us 71.9 in absolutely horrible conditions... I wish gas prices would go down so I could spend some time running till I find the proper set-up....
