    Scents

I was wondering what everyone uses for scent. Do most of you use one type like garlic all the time, or do you switch up depending on location/ time of year with crawfish or shad based scents?.
I've pretty much been using Garlic alot lately, trying to see what others prefer.

I pour most of the plastics I use. If the water temp is in the 50's, I cook in a shad based Smelly Jelly. If the water temps are in the 60's, I use crawdad Smelly Jelly.

Smelly Jelly is by far the best scents to use for the hand pourers.

Carolina Lunker Sauce in shad and craw fish. I soak what I am going to use over night and it works great.

Lunker Sauce is no good (cough cough cough)

Its not like I put that strong garlic smelling stuff on all my soft plastics. Never use the craw flavor on my jigs either

    Re: Scents (Neilslure)

I've found that spitting a big mouthfull of Copenhagen juice on a jig works well too. I have a few that are pre-juiced if anybody wants to give them a try....
